Description
Exzisus is a horizontally scrolling shooter where you must fly over various worlds destroying alien invaders and the end of world bosses. You start the game with just a jet pack as you blast or avoid waves of aliens coming towards you. As you destroy waves, they leave behind power-ups which enhance your firepower. Collect one with an 'A' on it and you turn into a spacecraft. You now have better firepower which can be enhanced further by collecting more power-ups, but if you are shot or touch an alien you keep losing weapons until you are back flying your jet pack. If you touch an alien in this form then you lose one of three lives and when they are gone it is game over, but you can continue where you last died. On your way to the boss of the world you will also encounter a meteor shower which needs blasting or avoiding as well. At the top of the screen is a map showing your distance to the end of the world.
