Description
F-15 Strike Eagle is an arcade only release of the air combat Microprose simulation franchise. It is based on the home computer version of F-15 Strike Eagle II, running on more powerful hardware than was generally available at the time.
Available both in stand up and sit down configuration, the player flies the namesake F-15E US multi-role strike fighter in a variety of missions in the Persian Gulf, attacking various enemy targets including oil rigs and weapon factories.
Three difficulty settings can be selected at start, from beginner to Ace. Six different scenarios are available, some of which have to be unlocked. Fuel is the measure of the time per credit and depletes while flying. It can be refilled by adding credits or achieving objectives.
