Description

The second arcade sequel based on the Lode Runner series, the objective is to collect all the gold nuggets scattered around the levels and avoid enemies who do their best to trap you. Two buttons on the arcade cabinet allow you to dig holes to your left or your right. If the enemies fall down these holes and stay there for a period of time, they will eventually die and respawn at the top of the screen. Digging holes is essential as some of the enemies steal a gold nugget, and you have to steal it back if you want to complete the round. (It will begin flashing to let you know that a nugget is in its possession.)

When you have managed to collect all the gold, another ladder will appear, and climbing it will take you to the next round. Bonus points are awarded, but these vary depending on how much time you have remaining. After every three levels, a cut-scene is triggered showing you the next wave of enemies you have to deal with. Coming into contact with enemies or falling down in your own hole results in a loss of life, and the game is over when you run out of lives.
