Description

Racing Hero is a single player motorcycle racing game, and it's a cross between Hang On and Power Drift. The arcade cabinet has handlebars for steering and optionally a bench for players to sit down.

The player controls a motorcycle with a view from behind the rider, and the goal is to reach the checkpoint or goal before the timer runs out. The distance to the next checkpoint or goal is indicated by a yellow bar in the top-right corner. Avoid hitting other motor cycles, cars and trucks. If the player collides with vehicles or the railing at high speed, the motor cycle bounces across the road and explodes resulting in loss of time. Reach the goal to go to the next stage, run out of time and the game is over.

The race starts in Australia and once the player reaches the GOAL finish line at the end of each stage, they can select one of two country flags for the next race. The ability to select the next country after each race creates a pyramid-like race structure with 4 different endings, similar to Outrun.
