Description

Enemy planes are attacking, and as the tail-gunner you are responsible for defending your aircraft. Hostile wire-frame fighters appear in groups of three, swirl around in the distance, and then move toward your position. You are armed with a phasor cannon, and can direct fire towards cross-hairs which you can move about the screen. A single well placed shot is sufficient to destroy each of the opposing foe.

Enemy fighters that are very close can be repelled using a force shield. However, each use of the shield depletes energy, with no further protection possible once the energy has run out. The game continues with each wave being slightly faster than the one before it. Once a total of 10 enemy ships have slipped past your defences, the game is over.
