Description
In Pistol Daimyō no Bōken the Pistol Daimyo flies through twenty levels in a total of five stages, using fans for floating and gun attached to his head to take out enemies. The player can choose a level on any stage to start with. Each level consists of waves of enemies, followed by a boss at the end before proceeding to the next level. The pistol can fire unlimited shots, but with some control combos can shoot out different kinds of firepower such as an arcing cannonball and a charged shot. The Daimyo is killed by one hit from colliding with an enemy or enemy projectile. Breakable jars contain Hanafuda cards. If three Hanafuda cards are collect, the player has an opportunity to upgrade the Daimyo with a suit of armor by destroying a Kusudama.
