Description
The Karate Tournament is a versus fighting game in the vein of Karate Champ, Exploding Fist or International Karate. The gameplay aims to be realistic even though fighters move at a fast speed.
Players must first select a difficulty from either white, brown or black belt, then fight against progressively harder, but identical-looking opponents, without the ability to choose a fighter.
The game uses a very distinctive graphical style, abusing the "morph" effect seen in some other fighting games to simulate speed and motion blur, giving the characters a "constantly moving at high speed" look.
