Description
A horizontal space shooter in which you control a spacecraft skimming along the moon's surface. Game mechanics are similar to Moon Patrol: you are aiming to reach the next base by passing a series of checkpoints, while making sure you don't run out of fuel and avoiding enemies (both air- and ground-based) along the way. Unlike Moon Patrol, however, you can't jump. Instead, you have the ability to switch between three planes to avoid the ground-based enemies coming your way. Two types of power-ups can be collected along the way: one that awards you with extra fuel, and the other that gives you extra points. Running out of fuel before making it to a checkpoint results in a loss of life, and the game ends when all lives are lost.
