Description
The Main Event is a tag team wrestling game. Players get to choose from a roster of eight wrestlers of the Konami Wrestling Federation. Wrestlers carry monikers such as the San Antonio Smasher, Kamikaze Ken, and Conan the Great and they bear more than a passing resemblance to real WWF wrestlers. Players have to go through a series of fifteen tag team matches to become the tag team champions, and once they become champions they have to keep defending their title from all challengers. Matches can end by either pin, submission, a double count out, or by a count out.
